Strong monsoon rains penetrate upper, lower regions of Pakistan

KARACHI: Strong monsoon currents are penetrating in upper and lower parts of Pakistan, according to the Met office and a westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country.

Rain-wind/thundershowers are expected in most districts of Islamabad, Punjab, Khysber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. while more rain-thundershowers is also expected at isolated places in Sindh and Eastern Balochistan.

Heavy falls are also likely to occur in Kashmir.

Rain-wind/thundershowers are expected in Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. While, more rain-thunderstorm is also expected at isolated places in coastal areas of Sindh and eastern Balochistan.
