Former three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday posted his first tweet, as he made his debut on the microblogging site.
Nawaz, who had been absent on Twitter, posted his party’s famous slogan “Vote Ko Izzat Do”.

Maryam Nawaz, his daughter, broke the news as well from her Twitter account.

The former prime minister — who is in London these days where he is said to be recuperating — is set to join the opposition’s All Parties Conference (APC) tomorrow virtually.
Both Nawaz and former president Zardari will join the APC via video link. The government has already threatened Sharif and said that if he makes his address, the laws of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) and other bodies will be used.
