Who qualifies to be tested for free in govt labs across Sindh?

KARACHI: The government of Sindh on Wednesday issued a list of persons who qualified to get themselves tested for the coronavirus for free from government labs.

All coronavirus suspects with “symptoms consistent with Coronavirus infection” will be screened and their samples for the PCR will be taken, said a notification by the Sindh government on Wednesday.

The provincial government further said that all contacts of coronavirus patients will be screened and tested whether or not they feel symptoms of the virus or not. However, those who are traveling will be asked to get themselves tested by private labs.

” Healthy individuals having no symptoms or history of being in contact with COVID-19 positive patient(s) will not be tested at government health facilities,” read the notification.
