ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Health Zafar Mirza has said that Pakistani zaireens returning from Iran will be gradually allowed to return after full health screening.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, Mirza, who flew to Taftan-Zahidan border crossing, said that point of entry was being strengthened.
“At Taftan-Zahdan border. Reviewed the situation and now we have a plan! Over next few days we will gradually allow Pakistani Zaireens returning from Iran in batches after full health screening,” Mirza said.
“Point of entry is being strengthened. Thanks to all for the hard work!,” he added.
The health minister also spent time in Quetta, met with Chief Minister Jam Kamal and, reviewed preparations to effectively address #COVIDー19.
He, however, said that much more needs to be done in Balochistan to contain the virus.
About two patients, who were tested positive for Corona virus, he said that both were stable and improving.
“Contacts traced until now and tested are all negative, Alhamdililah,” he added.
