ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has condemned in the strongest possible terms the inhuman terrorist attack outside an educational center in Dasht-e-Barchi area of Kabul city that resulted in loss of innocent lives including children and injuries to many others.
“We extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the families of the victims and pray for early recovery of those injured,” a Foreign Office spokesperson said.
“Pakistan condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and will continue to support a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.”
A suicide bombing at an education centre in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul killed at least 18 people and wounded dozens more on Saturday, officials said.
A Ministry of Interior spokesman, Tariq Arian, cited security guards as identifying a bomber who detonated explosives in the street outside the Kawsar-e Danish educational centre.
