ACF dogs murdered brutally in safe zone

Recently, 2020 has been a series of one horrible thing after another, and this recent incident has been incredibly horrifying and saddening.

Recently, ACF (Ayesha Chundrigar Foundation) founder Ayesha Chundrigar posted a video on Facebook titled “on what happened”, and explained, grief-stricken, that some unknown people had tortured and murdered all the released dogs in a particular ACF safe zone.

The safe zones are government-sanctioned, and are designated safety zones for the animals that have been rehabilitated and taken care of by ACF, and then released. These animals are taken to those zones and given food and water there regularly. The safe zones are also very far from areas populated by humans.

Some unknown people brutally tortured and murdered these dogs, including tying some up and poisoning them.

Ayesha went on to talk about how horrendous people could be to do something like this, and how difficult it was to do anything good in a country where people would do psychopathic behaviour like this and commit such horrendous acts.

She explained that she doesn’t know what to do with the other animals that she will have to release one day, as it is impossible to keep them all in ACF, as it would be over capacity.

It is a horribly heart-wrenching situation, and further emphasises that we need to help and care for all of our animals, and protect them from people like these murderers.

Our hearts go out to all those dogs, as well as everyone at ACF, and we urge everyone to help them as much as possible.
