After Karachi’s loss, old video of Salman Iqbal mocking Lahore Qalandars goes viral

KARACHI: An old video of ARY chief and Karachi Kings owner Salman Iqbal is doing the rounds on the internet in which he can be seen mocking Lahore Qalandars.

The Qalandars and Kings clashed on Sunday with the former beating the latter in a thrilling contest that went down the wire before David Weise finished the game courtesy a volley of sixes and fours.

However, fans of the Qalandars started sharing an old video of Iqbal making fun of the Qalandars during an interview with Zainab Abbas.

“One word that comes to your mind when I say Lahore Qalandars,” says Zainab Abbas.

Salman giggles and says,” I can’t.”

“No, you have to say it,’ says Zainab, laughing.

“Becharay {the unfortunate),” says Iqbal before bursting out laughing.

The reference was to the Lahore Qalandars always finishing at the bottom of the table due to the earlier editions of the PSL.

The Qalandars fans, and those from other franchises, took to social media to make fun of the Karachi Kings boss.
