Alia Bhatt to make her Met Gala debut this year

Alia Bhatt is made her mark as one of the top stars of Bollywood. She has featured in many blockbuster movies in her career and people have showered love on her from her first film itself.

With celebrated films like RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Highway and Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva already in her kitty, now the actress in set to add another feather in her hat.  This year will be an exciting one for the new mom. The actress will feature in her debut Hollywood project Heart of Stone, alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan and the much-anticipated Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which features Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi as well.

Apart from that, the actress is also set to make her debut in the most coveted fashion events of the year – the MET Gala.

It is believed that the actress will adorn a Prabal Gurang outfit to walk the red carpet of this event that is attended by the bigwigs of fashion, entertainment and politics at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Alia Bhatt maybe making her debut at the MET Gala but she is certainly not the first Bollywood actress to walk the red carpet of the high-profile event. Previously, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra have also featured on the red carpet of this event.
