Bayern Munich have put an end to Paris Saint-German’s journey in the UEFA Champions League. They have beat PSG 2-0 and secured their spot in the quarter finals.
Bayern’s Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting gave its team the opening goal and a minute before the time, substitute Serge Gnabry scored another goal to seal the team’s victory.
In the match, PSG ended up falling flat with star performers Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe not being able to make a goal and Captain Marquinhos being replaced after 36 minutes with a rib problem by Nordi Mukiele who was also substituted at half-time.
Paris Saint-German has not had a good run this season owing to multiple injuries which has led to them losing out on some great players in the squad, the latest one being Neymar Jr who will be out of the game for another two or three months owing to his ankle injury which needs to operated.
It is the second season in which the Qatar owned club has been disqualified of the Champions League.
