Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) chairman Allama Ashan Siddiqui has felicitated women on the International Women’s Day, saying that women are equal partners of men and that the concept of weaker gender is a thing of yore.
“Women hold up half the sky, yet their contributions to society remain undervalued and their basic rights restricted around the world. Faith communities can influence increased women participation and safeguard education for girls,” Siddiquie said.
