Bollywood megastar Deepika Padukone is reportedly finalised to join the high-profile ensemble of Season 4 of HBO’s Emmy-winning anthology ‘The White Lotus’.
The buzz surrounding Padukone’s Hollywood return reached a fever pitch this week following reports that she will star alongside industry titans Helena Bonham Carter and Chris Messina.
While HBO has yet to issue a formal confirmation, media reports citing industry insiders suggest the deal is essentially done, marking Padukone’s most significant international venture since her 2017 debut in “xXx: Return of Xander Cage”.
The rumors of Padukone joining the show first surfaced in 2024. At the time, she was reportedly in talks for Season 3 set in Thailand, but declined the offer due to the birth of her daughter.
With Season 4 confirmed to be set in France, the production is reportedly eyeing the iconic Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez as its central filming location.
Padukone would join a star-studded roster that already includes Helena Bonham Carter, Chris Messina, Steve Coogan, Sandra Bernhard, and Alexander Ludwig. The season is scheduled for a late 2026 or early 2027 release.
