Eminent scholar Mufti Naeem passes away in Karachi

KARACHI: Eminent scholar Mufti Naeem passed away on Saturday in Karachi, a spokesperson of his seminary, Jamia Binoria confirmed.

Naeem was on his way to a hospital after his health deteriorated. He passed away from illness on the way to the hospital, confirmed the spokesperson.

Details of his funeral will be shared tomorrow, stated the spokesperson.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and other noted personalities have expressed grief on the sad demise of Mufti Naeem and offered fateha for the departed soul.

The opposition leader lauded his services for the propagation of Islam and the country.
