Engro CEO Ghias Khan becomes OICCI president

Engro Corporation Limited CEO Ghias Khan has become President of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) for the 2022 term.

“We are pleased to announce that Ghias Khan, President & CEO of Engro Corporation Limited, has become President of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) for the 2022 term, ” the statement said.

OCCI plays a major role in promoting foreign investments in the country through facilitating foreign investors and assisting the government with policy formulation that directly impacts foreign investments.

Additionally, the Chamber also works on advocacy efforts for streamlining the taxation system, policy input for increasing efficiency of the energy sector, initiatives on women empowerment, gender equality, climate and sustainability, and intellectual property rights in Pakistan.

The Chamber currently comprises of around 200 members, representing 35 countries and 14 sectors of trade and industry.
