Fawad Chaudhry takes aim at New Zealand cricket team and India

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry Thursday took aim at the New Zealand cricket team, hinting that India can still remain alive in the tournament if New Zealand, favourites to qualify with Pakistan for the semi-final stages of the game, leave the UAE due to “security issues” after fake emails sent from India.

India beat Afghanistan by 66 runs in its third match on Tuesday, finally opening its account in the ICC T20 World Cup 2020.

However, owing to many misfielding opportunities and a few dropped catches, Pakistani Twitter thought the match was fixed.

Cashing in on the trend, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry shared a meme on Thursday in which he hinted at the match being fixed as well.

“India can still reach in semi-finals if they send fake emails and New Zealand leaves UAE due to security issues,” read his meme.
