Gladiators eye victory against Sultans to stay alive in PSL 2021

After a good win against Lahore Qalandars last night in Abu Dhabi by just 18 runs, the 6th placed team on the table Quetta Gladiators aims to win the game tonight as well as they face Multan Sultans in the 25th Match of the Pakistan Super League Sixth Edition.

The Sarfaraz-led team who certainly did not have a good start in this year’s league will be looking to secure their fourth win of the tournament today as they thrashed the PSL 20202s finalists Lahore Qalandars. Despite the win, Quetta will have to work extremely hard to keep going in this tournament and qualify for the eliminators.

On the other side, the Rizwan-led side got a good start in the league but later lost control, since the start of the second leg, the sultans have got back in the game and got themselves at the 4th spot on the points table.

For Sultans, the current form of its captain Rizwan is highly encouraging. Sohaib Maqsood also seems to be in a flamboyant mood, with an intention to go on a rampage against bowlers. Young Shahnawaz Dahani is also back in form with a 4-fer in the last match and aims to remain the top bowler of the tournament.

Quetta, on other hand, will have to see if Faf du Plessis will be available for the contest or not after he decided to opt-out of the game against Lahore Qalandars on Tuesday. The Gladiators will also hope for other mature innings from captain Sarfaraz Ahmed.
