Imran Khan phones UK’s Boris Johnson over Kashmir tension

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan made a telephonic call to his British counterpart Boris Johnson and discussed the serious situation arising out of Indian actions in the occupied Kashmir.

According to a statement issued by 10 Downing Street spokesman, two leaders agreed on the importance of maintaining dialogue.

Imran Khan also congratulated his British counterpart Boris Johnson on assuming office as the UK Prime Minister.

Both leaders also underscored their continued commitment to the bilateral relationship between the UK and Pakistan.

Premier Khan also held telephonic conversations with Malaysian President Mahathir Mohammad and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan after the Modi government took a unilateral decision to annex Kashmir into India.
