Karachi weather turns pleasant after first monsoon rain

Monday morning turned out as a surprise for Karachi as the first monsoon rain hit the city, cutting off the summer heat and making the weather pleasant.

Gulshan e Hadeed, Steel town, Landhi, Malir, Airport, Safoora Goth, Gulshan e Iqbal, Orangi Town, Saddar, Garden, Old City Area, and other areas were struck by rain today morning.

North Nazimabad, Malir, Gulshan e Iqbal, Gulistan e Johar are those areas affected by electricity breakdown as the rain lashed out parts of the city.

K-electric spokesperson has said that they are looking into the areas affected and the electricity will be restored as soon as they can.
