The Karachi kings lost their 8th match in a row as the losing streak ceases to break.
Multan sultans won their match against kings with 2 runs and a devastating 7 wickets with 3 balls left in the game.
Captian Baber Azam still being put under fire online but also on the field as Pakistan Super League (PSL) President Wasim Akram lectures the captain on field during the match against the sultans last night.
The distress in azam’s face can be seen on screen and many come to his defense online
journalist Arfa Feroz Zake added
Was Wasim Akram going harsh on Babar Azam on the boundary line?If so then it's totally wrong! You can't do that to captain of national team. Did Babar chose squad of Karachi Kings? It is only Babar who's performing for KK. Babar at the receiving end of anger is unjustified!#HBLPSL7 pic.twitter.com/QEHJmU8YS8

Really disappointed to see All Format Captain of Pakistan @babarazam258 is being treated like this by Wasim Akram. He is our hero and world’s best player, win and lose is part of game but you cannot scold him like this!#KKvMS #BabarAzam pic.twitter.com/IUZppN025G

Even Baber Azam’s father Azam Siddique showed his support for his son with an Instagram post tackling the issue with a positive mindset.
In response to all the backlash towards himself, President of PSL Wasim Akram posted this tweet in response
Hello ! Surprised to see reactions on my talking to Babar at the boundary last night. What I was saying was ‘why our bowlers are not bowling yorkers or slower ones offside off’.nothing else . Babar is a wonderful boy and has tried his best. And what he wants for dinner ? 1/2

The Karachi Kings have another match against the Quetta Gladiators tomorrow at Gaddafi stadium in Lahore, where if they win they might make trouble for the gladiators to still be able to continue in the tournament. However by the looks of things it seems very unlikely. Can captain Baber still win the kings one match before the tournament ends ? We’ll have to watch the match tomorrow to find out!
