Federal Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari slammed rights activist Marvi Sirmed for tweeting a crass joke about the first lady, on Monday.
It all started when Sirmed tweeted a picture of the prime minister sitting in a meeting with General Bajwa. Sirmed took to Twitter to write:
One of those moments when PM wasn’t at the top, and First Lady wasn’t in the room. pic.twitter.com/K8f71Lb8Cb

Mazari took offence to Sirmed’s crass humour and slammed her on Twitter.
“So there is this dilemma – to condemn filth one may have to show the filth tweet giving it more publicity! I will not! But @marvisirmed ur filthy tweet against PM & his spouse – who is a private person not undertaking any official functions – really shows your shameless hypocrisy,” she tweeted.

“And for women to indulge in such sexism and filth is disgusting bec they themselves have been targets at one time or another,” she took another shot at Mazari again.

“Ahhahahahaha Dr Mazari! I really don’t think you’re that dumb. Clearly, the joke is not on the first Lady, it is on the PM who couldn’t manage to be at the top despite being the PM.”
