Maryam Nawaz hugs Hamza Shehbaz, Shehbaz Sharif in rare show of unity

LAHORE: PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz on Monday hugged her cousin Hamza Shehbaz, uncle Shehbaz Sharif in what was a rare show of unity in the Sharif family.

The footage of Maryam hugging Hamza and then patting his face before embracing her uncle, Shehbaz Sharif, outside a National Accountability Bureau office (NAB) in Lahore went viral on social media.

The PML-N vice president said that the PML-N was united and that each and every person who claimed otherwise was deluded.

Maryam was responding to cabinet members, among them prominently Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed who has said in the recent past that the PML-N will break into factions and groups such as the Meem and the Sheen groups.

“This family is united and will remain united,” the PML-N leader said, according to Geo News.
