Pakistan records highest number of COVID-19 cases in 24 hours in over 3 months

Pakistan on Monday recorded the highest number of coronavirus cases in a single day in three months, as 1,123 tested positive for the novel coronavirus on Sunday.

In the last 24 hours, 12 people died in hospitals. The latest infected tally takes the total number of active cases in the country to 13,242. Sindh leads with the most number of coronavirus cases (11,313) then comes Punjab (8,585), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (3,584), Islamabad (2,608), Balochistan (732), Gilgit-Baltistan (402) and then Azad Jammu and Kashmir (729).

So far, 315,016 people have recovered from the virus.  119 vents occupied across Pakistan out of 1884 vents allocated for COVID-19.
