Meesha Shafi blasts Hum TV for letting Ali Zafar host annual awards

The Hum Style Awards took place in Lahore last night and the man of the hour was Ali Zafar.

Being one of the dashing and prominent personality of the industry, Ali Zafar was the host of the Hum Style Awards with Urwa Hocane as his co-host.

Singer Meesha Shafi was invited and nominated as well for the Hum Style Awards category “Stylish Music Personality”. She later took it to Twitter to thrash out Ali Zafar and Hum, as to why they allowed a harasser to host or even come to the show when the allegations have not been clear yet.

1 sec… you celebrate/award/defend and support harassers, this is old news. So no surprises.
But shouldn’t ‘style’ awards atleast try to find someone with style 2 host their show?? And @HUMStyleAwards please stop nominating me ?? I don’t need validation from enablers.

She also asked the Hum management to no invite her to such shows or places where Ali Zafar would be present.
