ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister of Information and Technology Fawad Chaudhry announced that he would unveil the country’s new film policy next week.
This he said while speaking to Jerjees Seja, the vice president of Pakistan Film Producers Association on Thursday.
Seja was accompanied by chairman CPEC Asim Bajwa.
According to the information minister, the taxation system and NOCs are to be relaxed for the film and drama industry soon as discussed in the meeting.

The minister hoped that the new policy would help revive the film industry.
Responding to the minister’s announcement, Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan termed the announcement as huge.
