Sindh and Punjab provinces face vaccination shortages

A day earlier, it was reported in various media outlets that Pakistan faces a shortage of COVID-19 vaccines due to the lack of coordination among government bodies Another reason cited by news organisations was that the supply of the coronavirus vaccine was disrupted from China.

The NDMA, officials said, was not only dealing with Chinese vaccine manufacturers, including Sinopharm, Sinovac, and CansinoBIO, but it was also negotiating with Pfizer for the procurement of its mRNA vaccine for the country, a deal which could not be struck yet.
