President Alvi appoints deputy chairman NAB

ISLAMABAD: President Arif Ali Tuesday appointed Zahir Shah as the new deputy chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

According to a notification released by the government, the president appointed Shah to the post after consulting Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal.

“The President, Islamic Republic of Pakistan in consultation with Chairman NAB has been pleased to appoint Mr. Zahir Shah as Deputy Chairman, National Accountability Bureau. in terms of Section 7 of the National Accountability Ordinance 19, with immediate effect for a period of three years,” reads the notification.
