PTI govt took people for granted by dropping petrol bomb, says Shehbaz
Those who are parachuted into power serve the interests of mafias instead of masses: Shehbaz
LAHORE: Former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif said Saturday that the PTI government had taken people for granted by dropping a ‘petrol bomb’ on them.
The tweet from the PML-N president came a day after the government decided to increase the prices of petrol by almost Rs26, attracting widespread criticism and flak.
In his statement, Shehbaz said that the PTI had been ‘parachuted into power’ and hence was serving the interest of mafias and not the masses.
“Genuine leaderships that are elected by the people keep public interest in view while taking decisions, whereas those who are parachuted into power serve d interests of mafias instead of masses. Last night, PTI govt dropped a huge petrol bomb on masses, taking people for granted!” he tweeted.
