The National Stadium Lit up with Colourful Lights & Decorations For Pakistan Super League (PSL)

KARACHI: The National Stadium in the city lit up with colourful lights and decorations as the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is about to return to Pakistan in a few weeks.

Posters of everyone’s favourite cricket stars such as Shahid Afridi, Shaheen Afridi and others were placed around the stadium.
An array of various lights were used to light up the stadium which looked majestic in the night.

Pakistan is a cricket-mad nation that has not seen foreign teams visit the country ever since the infamous attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team on March 3, 2009.

The security situation in Pakistan has improved over the years, largely owing to the effective military operations launched by the country’s military that has broken the backs of militants.

Tourism, investment and business has seen a return to Pakistan after more than 15 years of terrorism.

Eight matches of the PSL will be played in Pakistan. Out of these, five matches will be played in Karachi (including the final) while three will be played in Lahore.

Last year, the final of the PSL was played in Karachi. Darren Sammy, among other foreign cricketers, arrived in Karachi to play the match.
