The Bella Twins bid adieu to WWE entertainment

Nikki and Brie Bella how have a part of WWE for the past 16 years. The twin sisters who are known as ‘Bella Twins’ have announced that they are retiring from the WWE and are reverting back to their original names Brie and Nikki Garcia.

The sisters who made their WWE debut in 2007 as a tag team duo announced in The Nikki & Brie Show that Today we are officially from here on out the Garcia Twins, Brie and Nikki Garcia.”

Nikki acknowledged that the decision to go back their real names after being known as the ‘Bella Twins’ was a ‘difficult decision’ as both the sisters are “so beyond grateful for Nikki Bella.”

The sisters now looking forward to a ‘new chapter’ in their lives which has a lot of roles for them to pursue. The twins want to work more as mothers, business women, podcast hosts and executive producers.

Brie is a mother of two, a daughter Birdie Danielson, 5, and a son Buddy Danielson, 2, with husband Daniel Bryan and Nikki has a two-year-old son Matteo with her husband Artem Chigvintsev whom she met on the ABC show “Dancing with the Stars” Season 25 in 2017. Before that Nikki was in a high-profile relationship with the WWE wrestler John Cena. Later she broke off her engagement with him due to irreparable differences.

Since joining the WWE, the sisters have always been open in showcasing their lives to their fans and giving them inside information on their wrestling careers as well their lives away from wrestling —on E!’s Total Divas and later on their spinoff show Total Bellas.

The Bella Sisters were inducted into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.
