Pakistani YouTuber Irfan Junejo finally addressed the Kashmir controversy, in his latest video message.
Taking to YouTube, Junejo said that he would not post videos on the Kashmir issue on his official channel as he had previously encountered a bad experience when discussing religious and political messages.
“I’ve done this before and I have had a very bad experience,” he said. “It does not affect people in the very least. Those who support me still supported me but those who abused me did the same. In a nutshell, my video didn’t have any effect on them,” he added.
Junejo said that when the Hazara Shias were protesting with bodies of their dead in Quetta, he didn’t make videos on the subject. He said that when Abhinandan was captured, he could’ve made a lot of money through videos but he didn’t.
“I will not commodify political or religious videos on my channel,” he said.
Junejo said that certain influencers and people were abusing him on Instagram and other social media platforms for not speaking on the issue of Kashmir.
“Now activism has come to this,” he said. “These people want to bully me into doing a project. I will NOT be bullied by anyone into making YouTube videos, let me make that very clear,” he added.
In the end, he said that if people wanted to unsuscribe or cancel him, they were free to do so.
“Only Allah gives izzat. I was made into a celebrity by Him, no one has the power to do anything except for Him alone,” he said.
