Pakistani actress Veena Malik on Wednesday took a vicious jibe at PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz, referring to her as a “Nani” (grandmother) and suggesting that her team was operating from India.
Taking to Twitter, the PML-N leader said:
“Nani’s (grandmother’s) social media team is operating from India,” she tweeted.

Malik was referring to the recent tirade by Nawaz Sharif and his daughter against the Pakistan Army’s leadership, accusing the army chief and the DG ISI of interfering in the workings of civilian governments.
At the Gujranwala jalsa, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif named army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa and accused him of toppling his government in 2016 and installing the “puppet government” of Prime Minister Imran Khan in its place.
